Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PropID platform ("Service"), operated by PropID ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use PropID. By using the Service, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and that you will use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws.
2. Invite-only access
Access to the homeowner documentation flow requires a personalized invite link issued by a PropID-authorized broker. You may not share, transfer, or reuse invite links. Each link is valid for a single use and expires after 7 days.
3. Accuracy of information
By submitting a report through PropID, you confirm that:
- All information you provide is accurate, complete, and not misleading
- You are physically present at the property at the time of documentation
- All photographs submitted represent the current condition of the property
- You have the legal right to document and share information about the property
Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent information is a violation of these Terms and may constitute fraud under applicable law. PropID reserves the right to flag, reject, or report suspicious submissions.
4. GPS verification
PropID uses GPS coordinates to verify that documentation was completed at the stated property location. You consent to the collection of your device's location data during the documentation process. GPS data is embedded permanently into submitted photographs and forms part of the verified record.
5. Intellectual property
The PropID platform, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of PropID. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform without written permission.
By submitting photographs and information through the Service, you grant PropID a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and share that content as part of your property report, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
- Submit documentation for a property you are not authorized to document
- Provide false GPS coordinates, fabricated photos, or misleading property information
- Attempt to bypass invite verification or access controls
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service
- Interfere with the security or integrity of the platform
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. PropID does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated valuations or analysis will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.
AI-generated property valuations are for informational reference only and do not constitute a formal appraisal. They should not be relied upon as the sole basis for financial decisions.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PropID shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to losses arising from reliance on AI-generated analysis, GPS verification results, or property reports.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PropID and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your submission of false or misleading information.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or are using the Service in a manner that is harmful or fraudulent.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
